Friday Reads 7-18-14

Here it is again. Friday. But this Friday my book club is celebrating its 10 year anniversary! Woot! Party time. We planned to have a pool party at one of our member's houses, but the weather is not participating. Most July temperatures are over 100 degrees. Right now, the temperature is 71 with a prospective high of 78. Probably too cool for swimming. And I bought a fabulous new bathing suit! Sigh.

Anyway, on to what I'm reading this weekeend.

Okay, I promise this is the last time you will see this on my Friday reads. I've got less than 200 pages to go. It will only take a little push to get it done.

Final Empire

Mistborn: Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson

This one has been calling to me from my bookshelf for weeks, so I finally picked it up. I've read about 30 pages of the 672 pages in this book. So far, so good.

Hot six

Hot Six by Janet Evanovich

I'm listening to this one in the car so it's slow going. I read it in a marathon Evanovich session about 10 years ago. It makes traffic so much easier to tolerate.
