Top Five Wednesday 5/20/15

Today's Top Five Wednesday topic is Debut Novels. So here are my top five favorite debut novels.

  1. Burial Rites by Hannah Kent - What a fabulous portrayal of the last person executed in Iceland. Such a mysterious story. What really happened may never be known.

  2. Special Topics in Calamity Physics by Marisha Pessl - I loved this book a million years ago when it came out.

  3. The Golem and the Jinni by Helene Wecker - A fabulous book about these two mythical creatures stranded in 1900 New York City.

  4. The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern - I've read this about three times. It's just so beautiful.

  5. Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen - Of course.
