Books I'd Like to Find Under the Tree

Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is Top Ten Books I'd Like Santa to Leave Under the Tree.

I accidentally opened one of my gifts already. It was an Amazon box with my name on it, so I thought it was something I had ordered. Oops! So I have the advantage of knowing what books Santa already left under my tree.

The Royal We by Heather Cocks and Jessica Morgan - This was one of my gifts. My niece-in-law wanted to know if It'd read this because she loved it so very much that she was definitely going to give it to me if I hadn't. It looks really fun, and I've heard good things.

Jane Austen's Names by Margaret Doody - I promise I'm not making up these author names. This is the other gift book. It is about where Jane got the names of people and places in her novels.

The Enchanted by Rene Denfield - This is about some prisoners and bizarre things that happen.

The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry by Gabrielle Zevin - This is billed as a book for book lovers. That's me! I should read it.

The Mockingbird Next Door by Marja Mills - The author moved into the house next to Harper Lee and her sister and then she wrote a book about her. I'm not sure this book was entirely condoned by the Lees, but whatever.

As If by Jen Chaney - This is about the making of the movie Clueless which I love.

The Romanov Sisters by Helen Rappaport - The Romanov princesses are really interesting to me right now.

Odd Hours by Dean Koontz - I really like this paranormal series about a guy who sees dead people.

The Oregon Trail by Rinker Buck - When this came out earlier this year, it made a big splash. I can't wait to read it.

Still Life by Louise Penny - I've heard really great things about this series.

What do you hope to get this year?
