Best Suggested Books I Love

Today's Top Five Wednesday topic is Best Suggested Books I Love. Basically, it means books that were recommended for me that I ended up loving. I'm going to include Book Club books that were chosen by other people. That feels like a recommendation to me!

Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel - I was preparing for a book talk at the library on dystopian literature. My boss suggested I try this one. It's fabulous!

Burial Rites by Hannah Kent - This was a book club book and it was an excellent read! The story of the last person executed in Iceland. Just so, so fabulous!

Okay, while researching this, it has occurred to me that I appear to prefer books I chose for myself. That, or I manage to forget when a book has been recommended to me. I literally can't remember.

But these are the two I know were recommended. That's about it.
