Friday Reads 4/29/16

It's Friday? How did that happen? I'm not even kidding. This week has been so banana sandwiches I don't even know what's going on.

But hey! Let's talk about what I'm reading this weekend.

The Road to Little Dribbling

The Road to Little Dribbling by Bill Bryson - I'm about 100 pages into this one. Ol' Bill has always been a bit of a curmudgeon, but in the beginning of this one, he was kind of bordering on rude about people being stupid. I might agree with him, but I wouldn't put it in print.

Queen of the night

Queen of the Night by Alexander Chee - I'm pretty excited about this one. It is about an opera star back in the day (I'm fudging because I can't remember which day, and I can't be bothered to look it up) who is asked to write herself a part in this opera. Then she finds out it's about herself and her dark, secret past.

Those are both pretty large books, so I think I'll quit there for now. What's on your nightstand this weekend?
