New Plan

I was reading Modern Mrs. Darcy the other day and she has a technique she uses when there are a LOT of things on her to-do list. She prioritizes the Top 3 things to focus on and lets the rest slide for a minute. I am going to have to use this technique because I have a boatload of books checked out and I got a new Kindle for Mother's Day. I WANT to play with that, but I NEED to take care of these other pressing concerns. Sigh.

So here are my top 3 reading priorities right now.

  1. The Road to Little Dribbling by Bill Bryson - I still have about 100 pages to go and it was due last week.

  2. The Attachments by Rainbow Rowell - This is the book club book for this month. We are short some copies, so I might have to loan my copy out. I should get it read.

  3. Bone Gap by Laura Ruby - Surprise! This isn't even on my TBR, but my hold came in finally, and I need to read it before its due date because I can't renew it.

So there we have it. There are so many other things I would rather read, but these are the most pressing. Let's see how it goes getting these done. Wish me luck!
