December 2016 Wrap Up
Whew! We made it!
So here I will wrap up what I read in December. I was surprised to see that I had actually done a TBR for December. After the fire bomb that was my reading life in November, I think that was highly optimistic to do a TBR. I guess that proves that I am forever an optimist.
What was on that TBR? Let's see, shall we?
The Colour of Magic by Terry Pratchett - Done!
Ghettoside by Jill Leovy - Done!
The End of Your Life Book Club by Will Schwalbe - Nope.
Brave New World by Aldous Huxley - Nope.
That's it. So two out of four isn't bad considering that I couldn't be bothered to finish anything in November. Much improved.
Here's what else I read...
Turbo Twenty-three by Janet Evanovich - I enjoyed this one, of course. These are super fluffy and fun and don't take a lot of time or brain power. And they're funny!
Adulthood is a Myth by Sara Andersen - I got this for Christmas and read it that day. It's a book of cartoons from a webcomic. They are mostly about how hard it is to transition from teens to adulthood. Especially if you're highly introverted. I mostly identified with the parts about being addicted to books.
Strange Library by Haruki Murakami - This is a strange book, indeed. It is a short novel about a kid that stops into the library on his way home from school and gets trapped in a dungeon. Better look out for those librarians!
That's the list! 5 books! Even if two of them were really short. I'll take it!
What did you finish in December?
