Library Update 9/25/17

Alrighty. It's time to go over my library account and see what's up!

Checked out Items:

My Life With Bob by Pamela Paul - I have been reading this pretty faithfully. It's due on Wednesday, and I'm over half way through it, but I don't think it will be finished by Wednesday. We'll see.

The Revenant by Sonia Gensler - I uncovered this on my kitchen counter last night looking for something else. I almost returned it unread, but I just couldn't do it. I'm still holding out hope that I'll get it read.

Scythe by Neal Shusterman - I grabbed this from Rudisill before we closed for remodeling. It is still looking at me with scorn that I haven't read it. I hear it's fabulous.

When Dimple Met Rishi by Sendhya Menon - This is the perfect time for a light-hearted YA romance since I am about to be between classes.

On Hold:

Manor Houses of England by Hugh Montgomery-Massingberd - This is the result of my looking at the book of Capability Brown's work. I really wanted to look at manor houses, so I ordered this.

The Making of Jane Austen by Devoney Looser - This is about how Austen's work is seen in popular culture today. I'm excited!

Quick Keto Meals in 30 Minutes or Less by Martina Slajerova - I keep thinking I'm going to start cooking more healthily, but then I get these cookbooks and I have no idea what the ingredients are, or I don't understand the directions, or the food just sounds gross. So we'll see what we get with this one.

Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur - This is purported to be a fantastic book of poetry. We shall see. I'm not a huge fan of poetry because I just don't understand it. I'm willing to give this a chance.

Hardcore Twenty-Four by Janet Evanovich - You can expect to see this on my library holds list for awhile because it doesn't come out until November. But gosh darnit, I'm going to read it as soon as I can!
