2018 Readolutions

Last year I started doing this thing where I make reading resolutions. Hence readolutions. I really enjoyed this over the year, so I think I'm going to do it again.

  1. Read 50 books. - I set the goal at 25 books last year. I hit that goal in June, so I bumped it up to 35. I'm currently at about 55 books. So probably 50 is a good number.

  2. Do the Book Riot Read Harder Challenge. - I think I can fill up this challenge with just the books on my TBR list on Goodreads, and maybe just with books I own.

  3. Read 9 of the book club books. - This last year I set the goal at 6. But next year, I'm only in school for 9 months, instead of 12. So I'll boost this goal a little, while still giving myself permission to skip out if I need to.

  4. Keep track of certain aspects of the books I read. - Halfway through this year, I started keeping track of more things, like whether or not the author is a person of color. I want to set up my book journal to keep track of all those things over the course of the next year, so I'll have to decide what things I want to keep track of.

That seems like a good list for now. Do you have any bookish resolutions?
