April 2015 TBR

I'm looking forward to getting past the dysopian talk I'm giving in April so I can be free to read whatever I want again, without guilt. So what am I looking forward to this month? Let's explore:

Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel - This is the last one for the speech, so I'm finishing this up.

As You Wish by Cary Elwes - As you saw in my Friday Reads post, I am working on this one. I expect it won't take long to finish this up.

The First Wife by Erica Spindler - This is the book club book for April.

Nine Horses: Poems by Billy Collins - This is one for my Book Riot Read Harder challenge. One of the challenges is to read a book of poetry. So, here it is.

Emma by Alexander McCall Smith - I'm hoping this one comes in to the library for me this month. It's a modernization of Emma by Jane Austen.

The Distant Hours by Kate Morton - This is at the top of my Goodreads TBR, and it looks like it might be right up my alley right now.

For Darkness Shows the Stars by Diana Peterfreund - I have this one from the library. I might give it a shot. It's a young adult retelling of Jane Austen's Persuasion.

What's that, seven books? That's a respectable goal, I think. We'll go with that.
