Friday Reads 5/6/16

This post is really something of a pipe dream. Tomorrow is my son's 16th birthday. Also I have to work. Sunday is Mother's Day. Also I have to work. It doesn't look like I will actually have any time to read. But if I did, here's what I would read:

The Road to Little Dribbling by Bill Bryson - I'm almost halfway through this now. But it's slow going, so you'll probably get very sick of seeing this cover before I'm done.

Queen of the Night by Alexander Chee - Yeah, it's time to get this one going. It's going to be due soon, so better get on it.

That's my wishful thinking nightstand for this weekend. What will you be reading?
