Friday Reads

Finally Friday. I think. I have had trouble all week trying to figure out what day it is. I'm a mess. But here's what I will be reading if and when I get the chance.

The Invisible Library by Genevieve Cogman - I am about 2/3 through this one. It's really fun. Let's just say that one chapter ended with the sentence: "And that's when the alligators came in." I literally burst out laughing at that one. Needless to say, there were no alligators in the store previous to that point.

By The Book by the New York Times Book Review - I really plan to finish this one right up this weekend. There are just a few pages left.

My Lady Jane by several people - I started this one last weekend and enjoyed it thoroughly. I'm at the point where Jane has married Gilford Bradley. The next morning, he turned into a horse, the way he does every morning. This is about to get veeery interesting.

And if I get anything finished I will pick up:

How to Survive a Plague by David France - This is the one about the AIDS epidemic. It's been sitting on my kitchen counter for 2 weeks. I just renewed it so I could get a chance to at least look at the pictures.

So there's my weekend sorted. What will you be up to?
