The Plan With Me Book Tag

Books! Plans! Two of my favorite things! How could I not do this tag?

Payday! A book you would buy right now. Cost doesn't matter! - A Companion to Jane Austen by Claudia L. Johnson: This book is out of print and super expensive for a book.

Pay a bill. A book you would get rid of right now. - Huh. I kind of get rid of books as I go. I don't have a lot of books I don't want right now. I guess I could do The Other Einstein by Marie Benedict. I won't read it again.

Doctor appointment. A book that makes you feel better when you are down.- Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. I mean, I read this a million times after my second was born and I had PPD. It helped me get up off the couch and do something.

Meeting: A book or series you felt obligated to read because of hype. - The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold. My friend pressed it into my hands because she loved it so much. I hated it.

Lunch date: A book or series that you fell in love with because a friend recommended it to you. - A Moveable Feast by Ernest Hemingway. Typically, I don't love Papa Hemingway, but this one, I loved. I only read it because my friend made me.

Work week: A book that was hard to get through. - Vengeance Road by Erin Bowman. It took me forever to get through this book. I don't know why. It wasn't bad. I just couldn't focus.

Gym day: A book that gets your heart pumping because it was such a page turner. - Gone With the Wind by Margaret Mitchell. This is the first book I remember reading breathlessly. Literally panting through the harrowing bits.

Date night: A book with your favorite romantic couple. - Let's go with Mr. and Mrs. Bingley. I would say Elizabeth and Darcy, but they are probably going to be too wrapped up in each other. Jane and Charles would at least attempt to not be rude.

Vacation: A book or series you would binge on if you had all the time in the world. - Louise Penny's Inspector Gamache series. This thing is huge and I haven't even read one book.

To do list: A book that you keep meaning to get to but don't have the time for. - Allow me to link you to my massive TBR on Goodreads. But more specifically The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt. I love Tartt. This book is huge and requires a huge commitment. One day.
