Friday Reads 10-11-19

Woo Hoo! I'm back in the saddle! What a week! After being at work for a whole 4 hours this week, I'm so glad to be getting the weekend off! Lol. But really, I'm way out of practice for this whole work thing.

As for reading, I am undecided still. But I can give you a list of options.

The Last Namsara by Kristen Ciccarelli - I'm still picking my way through this one. It's very political. The princess is trying to get out of a marriage to her father's cruel commandant so she is out trying to kill a dragon.

Gideon the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir - This one makes me giggle. It's very space horror fantasy, but the main character uses current slang which is both jarring and hilarious.

Policing the Paranormal by Paul Hope - I have two books left to finish my Read Harder Challenge this year. This is one of them. It's short, but it's wordy. We'll see how it goes.

In the Hall With the Knife by Diana Peterfreund - Just for something light, I think I'll pick this up. It should be quick and goofy. A good break from all the scary and serious books I'm working on.

The Beautiful by Renee Ahdieh - I just got this gorgeous thing and I'm excited to jump into it. It's a YA vampire novel set in 1700's New Orleans.

So, I guess that's it. On a scale of 1-10 how Spooky is this list?
