Friday Reads 9/17/21

Well, here we are. Friday. I am really looking forward to some sleep in this weekend! My reading plans have changed dramatically since last week. Hell, they've changed dramatically since Wednesday!

We canceled book club because there were only going to be 2 of us and neither one of us has finished the book. So I may just drop that book to give myself some breathing room.

The other book I was reading had a long wait list and was due back at the library, so I didn't finish it. So now I find myself with two audiobooks I haven't finished. 1 personal book I haven't finished. And the assignment to read 5 more award books in a month. Le sigh.

Blade of Secrets by Tricia Levenseller - I actually started this one back before my massive reading slump hit. I have no idea how far I got. Maybe 50 pages? Anyway, this is on my list of books, so I may start with this one this week.

Gideon the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir - I'm almost halfway through this one. So I'll probably work on this next. This would be an excellent segue into Spooktober where I read the spooky books. I have a list of award books that will fill the bill for that. Good thing, since I need to boost my numbers there.

I don't have any other brilliant ideas. I still haven't been reading much, so we'll see. What are you reading this weekend?
