Feb 2022 Library Update

Finally my library account isn't full of award books. Hooray!! These are books I really want! Also, it's a much shorter list now.

Checked out

The Cousins by Karen M. McManus - I've been meaning to read this since December 2020. I think I even got it from the library once, but didn't have time to read it. This time, it's going down! I love McManus, and I can't wait to catch up on all her books.

Squad by Maggie Tokuda-Hall - I've already read this one, but I'm doing a book talk on it so I got it again.

On Hold

Heartstopper, Volume 4 by Alice Oseman - I'm STILL waiting on this one, but at least it's circulating now. It's no longer stuck in processing limbo. I'm number 18 on the hold list. We have 5 copies, so I've still got a couple of months to go.

You'll Be the Death of Me by Karen M. McManus - This is last year's McManus offering. Hopefully I'll get to read it before this year's book is released. I'm number 20 on 14 copies, so hopefully I can get in March. Maybe.

The Recovery Agent by Janet Evanovich - And of course, there is still this one. It is finally set to be released on March 22, God willing and the creek don't rise. I'm number 62 on the hold list, which seems daunting until you realize that we ordered 52 copies. Hopefully, I can get my hands on it in April.

That's it! I am still trying to be circumspect with my library holds because I'm trying to read the 300+ books I own that I haven't read. I don't want to put them on my official TBR because if I don't get them in, it will mess up my reading list. My type A(wesome) personality is showing.

Anyway, those are the books on my library account right now, and a small peek inside the inner workings of my mind. I just realized most of these books are YA. Oh well. I said I wouldn't stop reading YA. Guess I meant that.
