Friday Reads 7/15/22
It's Friday! Tonight is book club so I won't get any reading done today. I'll have reading time tomorrow in between various chores. Sunday is pretty full with getting my mom ready to move. But I have 11 days before my surgery to try to get through my TBR. So here we go.
Wuhan Diary by Fang Fang - I am definitely feeling like I can finish this this weekend. It's really good!
Rural Voices by many - I plan to keep working on this one. The first two stories were really well done.
Hamnet by Maggie O'Farrell - It might be a good idea to get this one done before my surgery as it probably takes more brain than I will be able to manage on pain meds.
Priestdaddy by Patricia Lockwood - This is the last book on my TBR so I might as well attempt to knock it out. I have that audio for this one, too.
Another Appalachia: Coming Up Queer and Indian in a Mountain Place by Neema Avashia - This kind of dovetails with the Rural Voices stories. I love a good Appalachia memoir.
That's probably enough for one week. We'll see how it goes.
