Friday Reads 11/18/22

It's Friday! I don't know how I'm still functional, but here we are. Since I've been so busy lately, my reading has taken a hit. I will most likely not finish all the books on my TBR this month. It's the 18th and I still have 7 books left. I took the book club book off the list because we aren't having a meeting. And I'll take off A Snake Falls to Earth because I don't really want to read it. It's a Read Harder challenge book, but I have ordered a new book for that challenge from the library for next month.

Auntie Poldi and the Sicilian Lions by Mario Giordano - I'm still reading this. I don't know why this is so slow! I'm currently at the 75% mark. I fully plan to finish it tomorrow at the latest.

Take a Hint, Dani Brown by Talia Hibbert - This one is on my 50 by 50 list. I feel like the first one in this series flew by, but after the experience I'm having with Auntie Poldi, I'm not counting on anything. It's a romance instead of a mystery, so maybe it won't take as much mental effort?

Kill the Farm Boy by Delilah S. Dawson and Kevin Hearne - I hope to at least start this in the next week. It's supposed to be hilarious and entertaining. I hope this is true.

Five Survive by Holly Jackson - I need to get a review up for this one before November 29. It's on my kindle, so I'll probably make that my work book and have it with me to read when I can. I'm more likely to get it finished that way than if I wait until all my physical books are finished.

I have decided that books I didn't remove from my TBR but that I don't get read, will roll over into next month's TBR. Right now that looks like just one book, but only if everything else goes according to plan, and we know how that ends up.

This is a lot for one little week. We'll see what happens.
