Friday Reads 9/1/2023
IT'S SEPTEMBER!!!! It's still hot as hades, and we will still have temperatures in the triple digits, but IT'S SEPTEMBER!!!
Yesterday I shared my TBR for the month, so it's kind of a moot point to give you my Friday reads, but here we go.
The Age of Witches by Louisa Morgan - I listen to this in the car when I'm done with my favorite podcasts. I'm about 60% through it. I expect I could finish it next week, maybe. We'll see. I like it pretty well.
My Brilliant Friend by Elena Ferrante - I didn't finish this August TBR book in August because I only read it at lunch at work and I didn't always bring my lunch. I didn't read it when I went out for lunch. I will probably bring it home this weekend to try to focus on it and finish it up.
Grave Reservations by Cherie Priest - Since this is a library book, I feel like I should prioritize it. I will probably make this my next work/lunch book. It's not very long, so hopefully it won't take all month to get through.
Bitch in a Bonnet: Reclaiming Jane Austen from the Stiffs, the Snobs, the Simps, and the Saps by Robert Rodi - I literally just now realized that this says Volume 1. That means there is a volume 2! I love that for me! I figure I'll get started on this since it's the longest book on my TBR.
That seems like a pretty good starting point for the month. Yay!
