Vacation TBR

Maybe TBR is not the right term here. These are just the books I'm taking with me for possible reading. Since I've mostly finished all my September TBR books, I just looked at my bookshelves and tried to find some books I might feel like reading. Also, I only picked paperbacks to make it easier to carry my book bag.

Bitch In a Bonnet by Robert Rodin - This is the one that I have decided to bring on my trip. I will focus on my other TBR books and try to finish those before we leave. I decided it would be the most fun to read during a rest and relaxation week, and it is a paperback.

One of Us Is Back by Karen McManus - This is the only hardcover book I'm taking. It's a library book and it will be due when I get back. This is the third book in a YA myster/thriller series and I really want to read it. I have read all of McManus' books.

The Radcliffe Ladies Reading Club by Julia Bryan Thomas - The people I'm traveling with like historical fiction, so I might find myself in the mood for it. This one is written by a friend of mine, too.

Legends and Lattes by Travis Baldree - This is described as cozy fantasy. What would go better with reading in the mountains, than cozy fantasy? Nothing, that's what.

Fatal Remedies by Donna Leon - This is the next one in the series that I haven't read. They don't have to be read in order as evidenced by the fact that I've read several from later in the series. But I have it, so why not.

Nice Cup of Tea and a Sit Down by Stuart Payne - As far as I can tell this is about cookies. Biscuits, in this one. The author pairs the perfect biscuit for each occasion? It seems like an easy cozy nonfiction book, unlike most of my other nonfiction books.

The Dutch House by Ann Patchett - For my last choice, I have this literary fiction book. I have really liked all the Ann Patchett I've read so far, and this is a pretty small paperback.

So there we are. I tried to get a selection of different genres. Also, I may change my mind before I actually leave in 4 days.
