Friday Reads
Ok. This Friday reads is going to be a little different. Mostly because after tomorrow, I have no idea what I'll be reading. But here we go.
All I Did Was Ask: Conversations with Writers, Actors, Musicians and Artists by Terry Gross - I'm about halfway through this one and I'm really enjoying it. Even when I don't know who the person is she is interviewing, the conversations are interesting. The longest chapters are 10 pages. I will read this today and tomorrow at work and then it's staying home while I go on vacation. It most likely will not get finished in September and have to carry over into October.
Bitch in a Bonnet: Reclaiming Jane Austen From the Stiffs, the Snobs, the Simps, and the Saps by Robert Rodi - I decided this would be the best candidate for taking on vacation. Yes, it's dense and it takes awhile to read, but it's a paperback and it's mostly stuff I already know. I am about 40% through it. Hopefully with some focused reading time, I can finish it off.
I gave you my vacation TBR earlier this week, but when I went to pack my bag, I added a lot more books than what I put on my list. Do I remember what they are now? Absolutely not.
Also, I will be buying books while I'm gone. I don't know what books I'll be buying, nor do I know if I will read them immediately upon purchasing them.
So there you have it. My vague, amorphous Friday Reads.
