April Showers

Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is books with rain on the cover. I had originally meant to only post books I have read. Apparently, I have not read many books with rain on the cover, so I had to add in books I haven't read, too. All these rainy covers make me want to cuddle under a blanket and read. Who am I kidding? I always want to do that.

Books I've Read

Long Bright River by Liz Moore - Look at that rain!

The English Boys by Julia Thomas - Lots of rain here, too.

Thunder and Lightning by Lauren Redniss - It's pretty subtle but it's there.

Soulless by Gail Carrigan - I don't know how much mist/fog count, but without them I would not have ten books on this list.

The Right Attitude to Rain by Alexander McCall Smith - I am aware that the only rain on the cover of this one is the word in the title. It counts.

Nights of Rain and Stars by Maeve Binchy - Again. Only the word rain in the title.

Books I Haven't Read - but they are on my to-read list

The Book of Cold Cases by Simone St. James - Rainy rain rain!

The Guest List by Lucy Foley - There appear to be a bunch of thrillers with rainy covers. I don't read a lot of thrillers, which is probably why I didn't have a lot of rainy covers.

The City of Mist by Carlos Ruiz Zafon - If it worked for Soulless, it should work here, too.

The Wager by David Grann - I feel like there must be rain here. I only had 9 so I scoured my TBR looking for rain. Over 1000 books. No rain. So I went with implied rain.
