July Library Update

This will be quick and painless. I have no books checked out right now.

ON HOLD

Colton Gentry's Third Act by Jeff Zentner - I love Zentner's YA books. I think I've said this before. This book came out at the end of April. I don't know why the library still says "On Order". They must be way behind. Anyway, this is his first book for adults and it's a romance. It has some red flags for me: 1. he's a country singer. 2: it's a romance written by a man. On the other hand, a whole bunch of people who have read it said it's fantastic. So we wait. I am first on the list for this one, but at this rate, I might be able to buy the paperback before I get the hold.

Cat + Gamer by Wataru Nadatani - I can't take the cute!!! This is volume 5 of the manga about the office lady who adopts cats and takes care of them like she's playing a video game. This one came out a couple of weeks ago, so it's not circulating in the library, yet. I'm number 4 on the waiting list.

Sunrise Nights by Jeff Zentner and Brittany Cavallaro - There's that guy again. Zentner is back on his YA game, this time with another YA author. This came out the same day as the manga above. I'm number 3 on this list.
