Friday Reads 11/22/24

So it's Friday. My life is chaos. Let's gooooooo!!!!! I should have some reading time this weekend but then my life will blow up for about 3 and a half weeks. Let's talk books.

Eat Only When You're Hungry by Lindsay Hunter - I started this one this week. I like it. Nothing is happening. It's one of those internal monologue books. This guy is driving an RV from West Virginia to Florida to look for his drug addicted son that has been missing for over 2 weeks. He's driving and thinking about his life. It's mostly flash backs and inner monologue. I've only read 38 pages though, so who knows where it's going.

Now or Never by Janet Evanovich - As predicted, this showed up at my library as a Quick Pick and I nabbed it as soon as it came off the cart. It may have an unexpected pregnancy plotline which is my absolute least favorite trope. I'm 60 pages in and she isn't even sure she's pregnant, so it's not that yet. Fortunately, the mystery plotline is just fine, so I'm hanging on to that.

Government Information Essentials by Susanne Caro - My InterLibrary Loan showed up today. Perfect timing. I should be reading this this weekend to get ready for my new job, but I most likely will focus on Jane Evanovich and trying to finish up the Lindsay Hunter. Maybe I'll start it.

That reminds me, I need to change the location pickup for all my holds today. It would not do for them to show up at Rudisill and be directly out of my way to pick them up.

Okay. That's what I'm reading. What are you reading?
