Friday Reads 4/18/25

I have earned this Friday! This week was a ride. I survived my four-day training. Woohoo! It's time to read.

My weekend is fairly open. I have nerd night tomorrow night after work, but then it's open until dance on Sunday. I know it's Easter, but everyone seemed to be interested in dancing anyway. So, I guess I'm doing that.

On Monday, my kid is having an endoscopy and then we have our last bell rehearsal before we start our concert season.

The Kennedy Girl by Julia Bryan Thomas - I've read about 25% of this one so far. I'm enjoying it, but I'd be enjoying it more if I wasn't in a little bit of a slump. I did not pick up a book at all yesterday. This is due in 4 days, so I hope I can get moving.

The JFK Conspiracy: The Secret Plot to Kill Kennedy - And Why It Failed by Brad Meltzer and Josh Mensch - I'll start this at work tomorrow. It has every possibility of being overly salacious and click-bait-y. If it is, I will immediately return it. Not for me. It could also be really good.

Belgravia by Julian Fellowes - I hope I can actually finish this before the end of the month. I'm almost halfway through, but if more library books show up, it may be a no go. I'll pick it up after I finish The Kennedy Girl.

If the JFK book is a flop, or I actually finish it, I will choose another historical fiction book from my shelf to start for my work book.

So that's it for this time. Happy reading!
