Reading Update

As predicted, I didn't get a lot of reading time. I got a little bit of Avid Reader in on Saturday evening, but mostly I was scrambling to get all the things done that I wouldn't have time to do on Sunday.

I read a little bit on Sunday (again Avid Reader) while I did laundry. Once I left for my bell concert at 1:30, reading time was done for the day. When I got home at 9:30 that night, it was all I could do to stand up in the shower. Then I went to bed.

Monday, I had a doctor's appointment at 10 am. I took the book and read a bit while I waited in all the various places you wait at the doctor. As I was going to the appointment, I realized the headache I was fighting was becoming a migraine. I canceled my hair appointment for the afternoon and went home to sleep. In the evening, my husband and I went to see Pride and Prejudice (2005) at the theater. No reading, but I'm not too mad about it.

My copy of The Quiet Librarian came in, so I guess I need to get started on that one pretty quickly. It's a thriller, so hopefully it reads fast.

And there you have it. I read about 50 pages of Avid Reader over the weekend and that's it.
