Friday Reads 10/17/14

Hello Reader! I really had to check twice to make sure it was Friday. I have lost all track of time.

So, what am I reading? I'll tell you.

Mistborn

Mistborn: The Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson - Hey! There it is again. I kind of put this on hold while I worked on 1Q84. Now I've picked it back up again. Does anyone else think it's a little bizarre to title the first book in a series Final Empire?

AGe of Innocence

The Age of Innocence by Edith Wharton - This is a reread for me, but it's been a long time and it's exactly what I feel like reading right now.

Thereby Hangs a Tail

Thereby Hangs a Tail by Spencer Quinn - Cool whip for the brain, this is. Told from the perspective of Chet the dog.

Shades of Grey

Shades of Grey by Jasper Fforde - Not to be confused with 50 Shades of Grey. In this bizarre world, society is stratified by the colors that each group can see. The top of the heap is purple and blue. Then red. Then yellow and green. And Grey at the bottom. It's fun if it is a little confusing.

I think that's everything currently on my pile. Probably I will add more. It's that kind of reading slump for me, right now. I just read a little here and a little there until something catches my attention.
