December TBR

I am not really feeling the whole planning my reading thing. So this post will mostly consist of book club books and things I expect to come in from my library holds. That way I can just choose things to read at Whim.

The Habits of the House by Fay Weldon - This is the library book club book this month. It is about a family in turn of the twentieth century England that is beginning to have trouble meeting all their expenses. They begin to look around for an appropriate match for their son. Appropriate meaning wealthy. Minnie is a rich girl from Chicago whose father is in meat-packing. She is beginning to look like a good bet.

Dashing Through the Snow by Mary Higgins Clark - This is my book club book for this month. It is a Christmas thriller? That's all I know.

Bad Machinery by John Allison - This is a graphic novel that was recommended by an old friend. I thought I'd check it out.

Texts from Jane Eyre by Mallory Ortberg - And other conversations with your favorite literary characters. I expect it to be hilarious. I hope it comes in soon.

That's enough. I'll find more to read, though, I'm sure.
