Book to Movie Adaptations

Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is Book to Movie Adaptations I'm Looking Forward to or Still Need to See. I'm sure there are tons I still need to see, but I might also add my favorite book to movie adaptations.

Ones I'm looking forward to:

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies by Jane Austen and Seth Graham-Smith - This book came out several years ago and I really enjoyed it. The movie is scheduled to come out next year, and a friend and I already have a date to go see it.

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs - This book is so creative and such a great creepy story. This is also in production for next year.

The Light Between Oceans by M.L. Stedman - My library book club read this this year and really enjoyed it. Another one in production for next year.

Me Before You by Jojo Moyes - This book made me ugly cry. It's weird that that is a good recommendation. Anyway, this movie is scheduled to come out in June.

The BFG by Roald Dahl - I feel like this should have been a movie a long time ago. But it's coming out next July.

Adaptations I still need to see.

Cold Comfort Farm by Stella Gibbons - I got this for my birthday, which alerted me to the fact that I should watch it.

A Walk in the Woods by Bill Bryson - I laughed loudly all the way through this book about 18 years ago or more. My only problem with this adaptation is that they aged the main characters by about 30 years. But, still. I'll see it.

The Duff by Kody Keplinger - The main character has been labeled the Designated Ugly Fat Friend by the eligible males in her school. So she starts a rebellion.

Frankenstein by Mary Shelley - This adaptation just came out in October. It stars Daniel Radcliffe, so yeah.

Wild by Cheryl Strayed - I want to read the book first, but the movie stars Reese Witherspoon whom I love.

Okay, I found ten book to movie adaptations I haven't seen. Go me.
