Friday Reads 1/15/16

Time to get reading!

Deep South

Deep South by Paul Theroux - Still working on this. I stopped for a minute because the other book I'm working on has a lot of holds and this one didn't. Then the day it was due, a hold appeared. So now, it's overdue and I'm only half way through. Oh well!

Lafayette

Lafayette in the Somewhat United States by Sarah Vowell - Story time. So I'm sitting at lunch reading and I laugh out loud. My coworker wants to know what's so funny. So I read the sentence that made me laugh. Yeah... it's a history book. Who knew? Vowell puts such an interesting spin on history.

That's probably all I will have going this week because I have to work Saturday. But hold on: Monday is a holiday.

Night Film

Night Film by Marisha Pessl - So on the off chance that I get the opportunity to lie around and read and I need the start something new, I will pick up this. It fulfills one of my Read Harder challenges and it's on my January TBR, so it seems like a good idea.

Yeah... that's the ticket.
