Underrated Books

Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is Top Ten Favorite Books With Less Than 2000 Goodreads Ratings. This took some research. So here we go. These are in reverse order of when I read them.

2 Sisters by Matt Kindt - 281 ratings - It's not that I loved this so much as that I liked it all that much, but it doesn't have many ratings, so...

Worlds of Ink and Shadow by Lena Coakley - 829 ratings - This one I really did enjoy. I wonder if there just aren't a lot of YA readers into Jane Eyre these days.

Eden West by Pete Hautman - 407 ratings - This one will go up when the Sequoyah nominations come out.

Jane and the Waterloo Map by Stephanie Barron - 425 ratings - This is just a damn shame. I love this series.

The Bronte Cabinet by Deborah Lutz - 151 ratings - This one pretty good, but I wonder why there isn't more interest in the Brontes.

Under the Udala Trees by Chinelo Okparanta - 1320 ratings - This one was on several "best o 2015" lists at the end of last year, so I'm surprised it doesn't have more ratings.

Thug Notes by Sparky Sweets Ph.D. - 174 ratings - This definitely needs more love.

Deep South by Paul Theroux - 1132 ratings - What kind of world is it where Paul Theroux can't get more that 2000 Goodreads ratings?

Katrina: After the Flood by Gary Rivlin - 312 ratings - I really liked this one and requested that my library purchase it.

Maddie On Things by Theron Humphrey - 565 ratings This book is almost as good as Momo and definitely deserves more ratings.
