October 2016 Wrap Up

Whew! October was a much better reading month than September. Let's dive right in.

Since I didn't have a lot of confidence in my ability to stick to a TBR, I only had 3 books on my October list.

Slade House by David Mitchell - Done!

Queen of the Night by Alexander Chee - Done!

Glory O'Brien's History of the Future by A.S. King - Done!

That's 100% of my TBR done! Winning!

Let's see what else I finished in October...

Voracious by Cara Nicoletti - This one met a challenge for a food memoir on the BookRiot Challenge. Now I only have one left for that challenge.

Killing and Dying by Adrian Tomine - This is a graphic short story collection. They were a little depressing, but pretty good.

Delilah Dirk and the King's Shilling by Tony Cliff - I like this little graphic novel series. It's about a kick ass female adventurer. In this one she has to go home to England and act like a lady. Hilarious!

Hillbilly Elegy by J.D. Vance - I did a review of this one, so check that out if you missed it.

Rat Queens, Vol. 3 by Kurtis J. Wiebe - I like this series, but I had some problems with the story flow in this volume. It felt like there were pages missing, or something.

For those keeping track at home, that is 6 male authors and 2 female. This is a switch from the rest of the year.

Anyway, that is my wrap up of my October reading month.

What did you read?
