Friday Reads 11/18/16

Hey party people! It's Friday! Friday, the 18th of November and I have yet to finish a book this month. I have started several. I haven't even gone back to look at what was on my TBR because I sure haven't read any of those books. Sigh.

So this list of books is seriously tentative. Like, I'm not even sure I'll pick up a book. But if I did, it might be one of these.

Ghettoside

Ghettoside by Jill Leovy - This book is about a murder in Los Angeles. And the determined detective assigned to the case. That's all I know. I bought this from Book of the Month because it has been on my radar for months.

We Gon' Be Alright

We Gon' Be Alright by Jeff Chang - The subtitle for this is Notes on Race and Resegregation. I think this is going to be important. Also, it's less than 100 pages, so not too terrifying.

That's it. I'm not setting my sights too high. I just want to put some books in my mind, so if I do ever feel like reading something, I know what to pick up.
