January 2017 Wrap Up

You know how sometimes it seems like time is flying by, but then when you look back at it, it seems like soooo long? That's how I feel about January. While I was in the middle of it, I kept thinking, "It's already January 20? How did THAT happen?" but now that I'm at the end of it, it seems to have taken forever to get to the end of it.

ANYWAY, let's check my TBR:

Oh right, just the one book. Guess what? I read it. BAM!

Women Who Read are Dangerous by Stefan Bollman - I heartily recommend this to people who are interested in art and/or feminism. This was a gorgeous book.

And since I'm already crushing it this month, I also read:

Scrappy Little Nobody by Anna Kendrick - I loved Anna in Twilight. She did snotty teenager so well! Also, I enjoyed her in Pitch Perfect. I listened to this one on audiobook because it is narrated by Anna herself. I thoroughly enjoyed it. She's really funny. I have a feeling audiobooks are going to be the only reason I even get close to my 12 book reading goal this year.

So there it is. There is what I read in January. I'm pretty stoked that I am ahead of the game coming out of the shoot. Is that enough sports metaphors for you?
