Update 3/22/17

The topic for today's regularly scheduled post is Books I Read in One Sitting. I don't have the energy to make a list of that today, so the short answer is every graphic novel I've ever read and The Pleasures of Reading in an Age of Distraction by Alan Jacobs.

I am in the throws of writing a research paper. It's due in a week. I have written 7 pages, which is about a quarter of how long it needs to be. I'm not entirely sure I have 21 more pages of information to put in. But that is irrelevant because I can't get a decent amount of uninterrupted time to write. I am taking off work Thursday and Friday. I thought I could write while the kids and hubby are gone. Well, one kid needs a doctor visit and it's also her birthday and the bugman is coming. That's Thursday. On Friday I have an appointment with a financial advisor and an appointment with an academic advisor. Aaaargh!!

I did take off next Wednesday. Maybe I can get some writing time in the day the thing is due? There is also a final due that day as well. Oy veh!
