Books Coming in 2017

Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is Books I'm Anticipating That Are Coming Out In the Second Half of 2017. Now, we all know that since I'm not reading a lot these days, these books that I am anticipating will be going straight onto my TBR. Nonetheless...

June 6 - The Best Land Under Heaven by Michael Wallis - This is about the Donner party. This is fascinating stuff, people!

July 8 - Penhale Wood by Julia Thomas - Julie is my friend, so I'll check out her second book.

August 1 - The Address by Fiona Davis - This is a novel about The Dakota, which is a tony apartment building in New York City. It's where John Lennon lived and where he was shot on the street in front.

August 1 - Ms. Marvel Vol 7 by G. Willow Wilson - I love this graphic novel series about a young Muslim girl who suddenly has super powers and frequently has to save New Jersey from evil doers.

September 5 - George and Lizzie by Nancy Pearl - I have no idea what it's about, but it's a novel by Nancy Pearl. It doesn't matter what it's about.

September 19 - The Good People by Hannah Kent - I have loved all the Hannah Kent novels I've read. This one is set in Ireland. That's all I know.

October 3 - Old Scores by Will Thomas - Another friend of mine who writes. This is a Victorian mystery series which doesn't suck. It's good my writer friends are good at it. Then I don't have to lie when they ask if I liked it.

October 10 - The Rules of Magic by Alice Hoffman - Her short stories are fabulous. This will probably be a book club book eventually. We have read two of her books already and loved them.

November 14 - Hardcore Twenty-Four by Janet Evanovich - I am all caught up on this series and they only take a few hours to read, so this one I might go ahead and read as soon as I can get my hands on it.

November 14 - Future Home of the Living God by Louise Erdrich - Once again, I have no idea what it's about, but I love Louise Erdrich, so it will go on my TBR immediately.

Are there any books you are looking forward to in the latter half of this year?
