Library Update 8/28/17

It is time to review my library account. Right now, my school schedule is so hectic that I have very little time to read, so there won't be much to talk about here. Anyway, here we go.

Books Checked Out

The Revenant

The Revenant by Sonia Gensler - This is an author that is coming to the Oklahoma Teen Book Convention in October. I wanted to read at least one of her books before the convention, so here it sits.

Giant Days

Giant Days by John Allison - I have both volumes 3 and 4 hanging around right now. I read volume 3 already. I love this stupid comic.

Idaho

Idaho by Emily Ruskovitch - This is the book club book for September. I'm feeling very advanced that I already have a copy. I haven't opened it, but that's beside the point.

On The Way

My Life with Bob

My Life With Bob by Pamela Paul - I am super excited about this book. Paul is the head of the New York Times Book Review and this book is about her "book of books". As someone who has a large collection of books of books, I can totally relate, and I can't wait to see what's in this!

On Hold

Giant Days 5

Giant Days Vol. 5 by John Allison - This one didn't come in with the other two. Actually, I was afraid this one would come first and confound my carefully laid plans to read them in order.

The Making of Jane Austen

The Making of Jane Austen by Devoney Looser - I can't actually remember what this is about, but hey! It's non-fiction about Jane Austen. What else do I need to know?

When Dimple Met Rishi

When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon - This is supposed to be the best YA brain candy of the summer. Dimple is a high school student who wants to go to college and not have an arranged marriage, which her parents want for her. She goes to science camp and meets Rishi, who happens to be the guy her parents have arranged a marriage with. He knows, she doesn't. Hilarity ensues. Or so I hear.

Milk and Honey

Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur - This is the "it" poetry collection of the year. Who says I don't read out of my comfort zone?

Hardcore 24

Hardcore Twenty-Four by Janet Evanovich - I am eagerly awaiting this next installment of this series. I'm number 176 on the hold list. Oy!

So that's what I have on my library account currently.
