September 2017 TBR

Woo hoo! September is almost here! Cool weather is almost here! I am very excited, if you couldn't tell.

I am very much enjoying putting together this TBR for September. The possibilities are endless! But here we go.

Idaho

Idaho by Emily Ruskovitch - This is the book club book for September. I have absolutely no idea what this is about, but I am excited for this meeting. One of our members just bought herself a house, and this will be her first hosting expedition. She is excited about it and the excitement has spread.

Sun is Also a Star

The Sun is Also a Star by Nicola Yoon - This is the Sequoyah Nominee I've chosen to read this month. This is a love story set in New York City. The girl, Natasha, is not the kind of girl who believes in love at first sight. Also, her parents are about to be deported to Jamaica. She can't get caught up in a relationship right now. Daniel is a good boy who always does what is expected of him. Unfortunately, dating the daughter of illegal immigrants is not on that list.

Revenant

The Revenant by Sonia Gensler - This one is a holdover from last month. Still planning to get to it.

My Life with Bob

My Life With Bob by Pamela Paul - This is the one about book journals that I am super excited to read. I am really weird about my book journals. I have the set I have been keeping since 1987 where I write a little something about every book I read. For a little over a year now, I've kept a book bullet journal. This is where I keep my reading stats and interesting lists. I keep a log of what books I read each day. It's very haphazard and chaotic.

I guess that's enough. That's four books. I have more I could add, but let's be real. I have two big projects due in September, so I shouldn't overdo it.

What do you plan to read in September?
