Friday Reads 10/20/17
Omg. What a week! The last 7 days have just been chaos! But let's be real, that's not out of the ordinary.
Here's what is on the nightstand for reading this week:
Reading People by Anne Bogel - I'm really almost done with this one. If I get a minute later today, I'll probably finish this right up. I'm enjoying it a lot. It's fun to categorize myself in each of the different personality matrices she talks about.
The Revenant by Sonia Gensler - I'm actually halfway through this one. I downloaded it to my phone with the Libby app and I've been reading it at lunch at work and in various places where I've been waiting. It takes place at the Cherokee Girls' Seminary in Tahlequah Ok, which is about 90 minutes from where I live. After the first chapter, I Googled the seminary so I could see pictures of what it looked like. The story is a ghost story set in the early 1900's. It's really fun so far!
Up to This Pointe by Jennifer Longo - I have this one ready so as soon as I finish a book, it's ready to go. I could probably start it, but I'm not so stressed out that I think I can read 3 books at once. My friend Hannah read this and said it's really good. It's about a girl training to be a ballerina who ends up in Antarctica. Hmmm.
What will you be reading this weekend?
