Library Update 4/23/18

I'm gonna be honest, here. My library account is a bit sparse. I could beef it up by ordering some YA historical fiction, but I'm not ready for that yet, so here it is.

Currently checked out:

Vengeance Road by Erin Bowman - This is the YA western I'm reading for the Book Riot Challenge to read a western and for the YA Historical Fiction I'm supposed to be reading for my class.

The Sisters by David Grafton - I read about 50 pages of this and it was good, but I just don't have time for it anymore. It has to go back soon.

On hold:

Understanding Manga and Anime by Robin E. Brenner - The author was a guest for our youth services class. I like Manga. I am struggling with anime. It's very hard to watch because the shapes sometimes don't look like anything.

Head On by John Scalzi - This is the sequel to Lock In that I read and loved a few years ago.

Chaotic Good by Whitney Gardner - I really put this on hold for my daughter because it stars a cosplayer girl who experiences the brutality of internet trolls and dresses like a boy to infiltrate the dudebro mentality at the local costume shop. But it sounds cute, and I might give it a shot for myself.

And that is all. Really. Only five things on the library list. Can't say the same for my Goodreads account, but you'll see that soon enough.
