Friday Reads 4/27/18
Oh finally. Friday! I would say I have the weekend off, but that would be stretching things a bit. I have two projects to work on, plus my usual school work, plus tonight is prom for my son. Tomorrow is prom for my bonus daughter. And Sunday morning, we ring bells in church. I'm exhausted just thinking about it. Both kids have been sick this week, so I'm a physical wreck this Friday.
Not to mention that the boy graduates in 20 days. After he finishes school and spends a week in Belize. No worries.
All of that is to say I don't think I'll get a lot of reading done this weekend. But if I do, I'll read this:
Vengeance Road by Erin Bowman - I've read the first 3 chapters. So far it's very True Grit. I love True Gril, so that's cool. Only this girl is a lot tougher than Mattie Ross. She's already shot a guy. Twice, actually. She was kind of far away the first time.
Anyway, that's all that's on my reading plate this weekend. What will you be picking up?
