It's time for another look at my library account. Let's just say it is... ambitious.
Vengeance Road by Erin Bowman - I have been reading this book since last month. I don't think I've even got 100 pages done. I just read a little here, a little there. This is my life now.
The Wedding Date by Jasmine Guillory - This one is about a guy who meets a girl when they are stuck in an elevator. He asks her to be his date to his ex-girlfriend's wedding. She says yes. Hijinks ensue. This meets the Read Harder challenge to read a romance book by or about a person of color. The last one I tried for this didn't work out.
Reading Historical Fiction by Kate Mitchell - I got this one to go along with my historical fiction genre study for my class. I've read one page.
So that's what is checked out. Let's look at what is on hold.
Head On by John Scalzi - Still waiting on this one, which is fine because I don't have time to read anyway. This is the sequel to Lock In which I loved a couple of years ago. Near future sci-fi in which many people are locked in their bodies after a virus. Their brains work, but not their bodies. Robots have been invented so that these people can still interact in the world. The main character of this one is a police detective robot person.
Dinner Illustrated by America's Test Kitchen - Doesn't this sound great? I mean, even though I'm not cooking much these days, I can still look at beautiful pictures of dinner.
So that's all there is. Well, there is also a movie and a couple of books for my daughter. But that's all the things for me.
