Books By My Favorite Authors I Still Haven't Read

Today's Top Ten Tuesday Topic is Books By My Favorite Authors I Still Haven't Read. I feel personally attacked by this post, which probably means I definitely need to do it.

Night Film and Neverworld Wake by Marisha Pessl - For God's sake the woman only writes one book a decade! You'd think I could keep up with that. But no. I cannot.

The Raven King by Maggie Stiefvater - I'm doing it again. I'm putting off reading the last book in a series. I even started it once. But I started listening to it, instead of reading a print copy. Then I decided I would be better of reading it. But I never got it. So it remains unread.

The Faithful Place, Broken Harbour, The Secret Place, The Trespasser, and soon The Witch Elm by Tana French - I don't even know what happened other than she writes faster than I can read. Which is apparently not very fast.

Arcadia by Iain Pears - I read all of his Captain Alatriste books way back in the last century. I even have a copy of this book.

The Shadow Land by Elizabeth Kostova - This would be perfect for an October spooky read.

Through a Glass Darkly, Drawing Conclusions, Doctored Evidence, Friends in High Places, Earthly Remains, Fatal Remedies, Quietly in Their Sleep, Beastly Things, The Girl of His Dreams, and The Temptation of Forgiveness by Donna Leon - In my defense, I've read about half of this series.

Vittorio the Vampire, Blood Canticle, Prince Lestat and the Realms of Atlantis, and Blood Communion by Anne Rice - These are just the Vampire Chronicles ones I haven't read. I don't intend to read the mummy ones or the witch ones. Ain't nobody got time for that.

How to Think: A survival guide for a world at odds by Alan Jacobs - I mean, it's still pretty new, right?

The Lust Lizard of Melancholy Cove, The Stupidest Angel: A Heartwarming Tale of Christmas Terror, Island of the Sequined Love Nun, Sacre Bleu, Coyote Blue, Secondhand Souls, Noir, and Our Lady of the Fishnet Stockings by Christopher Moore - I just don't know if he can top the character of Abbey Normal in the Bloodsucking Fiends series.

OK. I'm done punishing myself here. It's your turn. What books by your favorite authors have you not read yet?
