Conundrum

I have found a flaw with my extensive TBR for October. I have finished the book I was reading at night. It was no scary, so I could safely read it before falling asleep. Now, all the rest of my books have the potential to be scary. Maybe The Essex Serpent isn't scary?

I'm definitely not reading I'll Be Gone in the Dark or Night Film before bed. I was going to try Haunted Onandaga County but now I'm second guessing myself.

The struggle is real!!
