Book Wish List

Today's Top Five Wednesday topic is books on my wish list. I have a couple of wish lists. One on my Goodreads account and one on my Amazon account. I'm pretty sure they do not have the same books on them. I'll just pick 5 from my Goodreads list. It's easier for me to get to.

Winter by Ali Smith - I have Autumn. Spring and Summer are supposed to come out next year.

The Phantom of Fifth Avenue: The mysterious life and scandalous death of Huguette Clark by Meryl Gordon - I have a morbid fascination with Huguette Clark. She was so weird!

Shades of Milk and Honey by Mary Robinette Kowal - This is touted as Jane Austen with magic. It's not a retelling, it is just set in the Regency era with Austen sensibilities. I've heard it's great.

At Home With Jane Austen by Kim Wilson - Speaking of Jane Austen. I will never not have a Jane Austen book on my wishlist.

A Companion to Jane Austen by Claudia L. Johnson - This has been on my list for a long time. This is my unicorn. It is out of print and the ones you can find are priced at around $100. Not in my budget.
