Goodreads Update March 2019

I recently found a Facebook post from a few years ago lamenting the fact that I had "almost 150 books" on my Goodreads TBR. Today, that number is 646, and I don't have any regrets! Here's what I added this month.

The Sound and the Furry

The Sound and the Furry by Spencer Quinn - I found this at Barnes and Noble for like, $4, so I grabbed it. I am making quite a collection of this series.

First Frost

First Frost by Sarah Addison Allen - This was part of that same Barnes and Noble sale. It's the second in a series, and I haven't read the first one, but look at that cover!

Early Riser

Early Riser by Jasper Fforde - This is his latest release. In this one, which appears to be written in the second person, you are on the Winter Consul which protects the human population during Winter while it hibernates. Then weird stuff happens. I mean, it's Jasper Fforde after all. You can't have thought it would be normal.

To Night Owl

To Night Owl from Dogfish by Holly Goldberg Sloan and Meg Wolitzer - Two girls whose gay dads are dating each other, get sent to the same sleepaway camp. Things go awry. Has a lot of Parent Trap vibes.

Brazen

Brazen: Rebel Ladies Who Rocked the World by Penelope Bagieu - Written and illustrated by the same person. It's got pictures! Oh! It's a comic! Exciting!

Voices

Voices: The Final Hours of Joan of Arc by David Elliott - I've heard meh things about this, but it's got a pretty good Goodreads ratings. Basically it's a poetry book about all the people and things in Joan of Arc's life.

Ok. That wasn't too many books. What is new on your reading radar?
