April 2019 Library Update

It is time again to look at what is happening on my library account.

Checked Out:

Geekerella by Ashley Poston - This is a fun, modern-day retelling of Cinderella about a girl who is obsessed with a geeky tv show and is determined to win the costume contest and meet the heart-throb actor playing Prince Carmindor.

Writing My Wrongs by Shaka Senghor - I have this one for the Book Riot Challenge to read a book written in prison. I think the author was a gang member and crack dealer. I could be wrong, but I haven't read it yet, so...

On Hold:

The Princess and the Fangirl by Ashley Poston - This is the sequel to Geekerella and is a Prince and the Pauper re-telling. The main character from the first book is now the official Princess, but it's exhausting. She runs across a fangirl who looks just like her and they switch places.

It Happens: A Guide to Contemporary Realistic Fiction for the YA Reader by Kelly Jensen - Yes. Still. It's been 7 months. Still waiting.
