Friday Reads 6/21/19

This should be entertaining. I'm going to a wedding tonight and I have some errands to run tomorrow, but hopefully I'll have time to get a bunch of rest and reading in.

Furiously Happy

Directly after I posted my TBR for my Summer Reads Readathon (which starts today!) I realized one of the books I put on my list is not one I need to read for my award reading, so I stole a book from my July TBR to put on the list. Instead of High by Nic and Jarrod Sheff, I'll be reading Furiously Happy by Jenny Lawson because it also has yellow on the cover. It also meets a Read Harder challenge to read a humor book. Two birds, one stone.

Sky Without Stars

Sky Without Stars by Jessica Brody and Joanne Rendell - I really hope to be done with this next weekend. I'm about 80% of the way through it.

Boy Next Story

The Boy Next Story by Tiffany Schmidt - I'm about half way through this one. It's pretty cute. There is an English teacher that picks out books directly for students. Our main character isn't faring too well in school and has a major crush on the boy next door. But good for her, when he says, "I don't have a date for the dance, guess I'll ask you." She says, no thank you. "I deserve to be more than an afterthought." Cheering! So we'll see how this plays out.

We Are displaced
Don't Date Rosa Santos
Beauty of the Moment

As mentioned in my Readathon TBR, I have these all on my list.

Not ask boy

How Not to Ask a Boy to Prom by S. J. Goslee - And one more just for fun. I think this book is gay. I'm basing that on the fact that there are 3 guys on the cover. I don't know for sure.

That is 7 books to read in 10 days. Hmmm. I may have over planned. That never happens. On the other hand, 2 of those books are already begun and maybe won't take much to finish. Maybe. Sigh. Wish me luck!

What are you reading this week?
