Dewey's 24-Hour Readathon

This Saturday from midnight to midnight.

It's time. And for once, I'm not a)scheduled to work or b)interning for grad school. It's been years since I was able to participate in a Dewey's Readathon! This isn't great timing, as it turns out. This has been a particularly gnarly month, and I am currently in a heinous reading slump. I did read 5 pages of a book yesterday, so maybe it'll work out. I do have some things to do on Saturday. A few chores. And I'm meeting some sorority friends for brunch.

I hate to even set up a TBR since my reading is so wacky. But I am an eternal optimist, so I will anyway.

Swan book

The Swan Book by Alexis Wright - This is not the cover of the copy I have, but I like this one better. So I'm using this one. This is the last remaining book to read to finish The Read Harder Challenge from Book Riot.

Bone Houses

The Bone Houses by Emily Lloyd Jones - Of all the 5 books I had started before the proverbial shit hit the fan, this is the one I think about the most. So I'll probably pick this one up again first.

Sweetie

There's Something About Sweetie by Sandhya Menon - This is the second book in a cute contemporary YA series and the third one is coming out soon. I liked the first one a lot, so I'll give this a go.

It's only 24 hours and I do plan to sleep. Especially since my dancers dance the next morning. Plus, I do have stuff to do. So I think 3 books is plenty.
