Friday Reads 10-25-19

Well here we are. It's finally Friday and I couldn't be more grateful. I thought I was happy about a Friday two weeks ago, but I think this Friday beats that one.

Tomorrow is the Dewey's 24-Hour Readathon and I will direct you to yesterday's post for what I'm going to possibly read for that. Besides those books, here are some other ones I might feel like picking up in the next week or so.

Serpent & Dove

Serpent & Dove by Shelby Mahurin - I bought this for myself a week or so ago when I was depressed about being trapped in my house by a possible TB diagnosis. I'm really interested in reading it. It's about a witch who is forced to marry a witch hunter and keep her witch-ness a secret from him.

Memory Police

The Memory Police by Yoko Ogawa - I need to at least start this one, since people are waiting for it at the library. If I like it I'll finis it. If I don't, I can return it and move it on to the next reader.

I'm not sure where to go from here. I'm looking at my Goodreads To-Read list and I want to read all of them right now, but I don't want to start one. I think I would like to already be in the middle of them. Which makes no sense because I am currently in the middle of about 6 books right now, but I'm not in any hurry to pick those ones back up. I am an enigma, wrapped in a mystery, surrounded by a conundrum.
